The problem we saw
Two things quietly broke HR everywhere we looked — so we set out to fix both at once.
It started with attendance. A manager knew the sheet was wrong. People clocked in for friends who were still on the way — buddy-punching (one worker clocking in for another). The numbers looked fine. The truth did not match them.
The rest of HR lived in spreadsheets. Names in one file, pay in another, leave in a third — spreadsheet sprawl. Nobody knew which file was right. Fixing this meant fixing both problems together: prove who really showed up, and keep one clean, honest record for each person.
